Project Overview
Explore Jordan is a tourism platform we built for a client in Jordan. It consists of a Flutter mobile app for iOS and Android and a static landing website built with HTML and Tailwind CSS. The app features Mapbox-integrated maps with thousands of places stored in a local database, category and subcategory filters, curated travel blogs (Accommodation, Tour Guides, Tours & Trips, Culture), a My Place bookmark system (Want to Go and Been There), a real-time chat system with file and image attachments, a comments system with replies, bilingual support (English and Arabic), light/dark theme, push notifications, an AI trip planner (Milestone 2), and user authentication. The website serves as a download landing page with App Store and Play Store links, an about section, and a contact form connected to Google Sheets via Google Apps Script.
